Our members care about guests and employees’ health and happiness.  Our members are interested in feedback and new ideas for making their property an even better place to stay and work!  Please share thoughts with the business.  If feel additional attention is important, please email the NHSLRP Manager.

Tourism is New Hampshire’s second largest industry. Many hotels, B & Bs, resorts and restaurants in New Hampshire recognize the importance of preserving our natural resources for our visitors, now and in the future. They continually evaluate how their operations affect the environment and look for ways to minimize their impact.

Sustainable Lodging & Restaurant certified facilities develop goals and identify people in their organizations to find new opportunities to improve their operations through education, employee ideas and guest feedback.

Being green is also financially good for certified properties.  By saving energy and water, reducing waste and eliminating toxic chemicals, green properties lower their operating costs which allows them to provide enhanced services to their guests and a healthier environment for both their guests and employees.

Our program thrives by sharing our love for  New Hampshire with our guests, and the staff our industry employs.

NHSLRP’s New Rest Area Rack Cards Promote Green Hospitality!

Businesses certified by the NHSLRP will be promoted at rest areas on I-93 in Salem and I-95 in Seabrook.  The New Hampshire  Green Lodging & Dining rack card will appear in rest areas in July.  The New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services  designed the promotional piece and also co-sponsored the printing with the New Hampshire Department of Travel and Tourism Development.

The brochure lists all program members and phone numbers for easy access to travelers coming into the state.  It is printed on 100% post-consumer recycled paper by a local printer that employs soy-based inks.  Members are listed by region and  located on a New Hampshire map by number.  Click on the brochure to the left to view the full piece.

For more information properties listed in the brochure, click on Find Lodging or Find Dining.  If you would like to see other ways NHDTTD helps to promote green hospitality, click here.
